Hi everyone.
It’s Travelin’ Thursday! Don’t think I’m crazy, I know I already did one early Travelin’ Thursday post last night… but I wanted to do two this week, so deal with it!
Why? Well, mostly just because I’ve been exploring the basic games and programs on my new bamboo tablet, and I was playing around showing man-go-round the U.S. cities I’ve been to and want to go to. Never before has my categorizing/ listing nerdery been so instantly gratified!
So in the spirit of new gadgets, here’s my map with a list of the cities (I’m including only larger or capital cities and not including cities I’ve only driven through).

What a cool list! Wow, you’ve been a lot of places! Awesome!
I try- but also, I’m getting pretty old π
Go to Austin immediately!!! π
I planned to until my stupid surgery, where I lost all of my PTO π
You’ve been to alot of cities! New Orleans is one of my faves, SO different than any other city. That should be on the top of your list π
Someone else said that too- I’ll have to prioritize it!
I’d like to go to the Florida Keys and Seattle.
I spent such a short time in Seattle, but I love Bellingham where I have family and have been there a bunch of times
Love both of the lists! You really have visited a lot of cities! When we lived in California we loved going to Napa. We didn’t get down to San Diego before we moved back so we said that would be a good excuse to get to go back! Love, love San Francisco !! I really don’t think you would ever run out of things to see or do in that city! Being born and raised in the Nashville area I think it is a pretty awesome place as well.
I don’t know anyone from Nashville so if I do go there I’ll hit you up for ideas!
New Orleans is at the TOP of my list for 2012!! You are so well traveled in the US! That is my goal for the new year, but may get swayed at offers fro Europe/the Caribbean!
yeah- I usually would have my top choice be more exotic, but US trips are so much more affordable!
What? You’ve never been to Kansas City and aren’t planning to visit? If you do just drive through, DH and I could show you and yours a memorable time–barbeque, blues, jazz, art, etc. We are the only American city listed in Fodor’s top ten tourist sites globally, because our new, world-class symphony hall…
I’ve only driven through on a road trip, I think we stayed overnight in Liberty Missouri though. We did drive through downtown which I thought was gorgeous. I have to add it to my list!
I think DC should be next on your list of places to see- it’s one of my favorite cities in the US!
I really want to go there- in the springtime!
