Yes, I know… it’s been a long time since I updated y’all on Project 2012. This does not mean we have given up on it, just that I’ve been a slacker on the recaps. Instead of recapping EVERYTHING that the project involved, I’ll just do a few highlights. Obviously we’re all just here for the Sugarbowl anyway…

and more! It’s been a great month or so of Project 2012, and I can’t wait to add some more places, culture, tech, service, and spirituality (among the others) into our lives!
Now onto important things like my sugar rush… yesterday Hershey’s Kisses faced off with Butterfingers. Who won? Butterfingers… by one little tiny vote! Butterfingers (another derogatory named candy along with nerds, runts, milk duds) moves on to the next round.
Tonight’s Battle: Lollipops vs. Candy Canes!
Which do you like better? What fun new things have you been up to lately?
Meri

Girrrl, I love this project of yours. 😉 And LOLLIPOPS for the win. I used to love it when kids sold them in high school for fundraisers. Om nom nom.
Remember those big round gourmet lollies they used to have in stores? Are those the ones you’re talking about? They had the best flavors!
CANDY CANES!!!!!!!!!!!
haha- tell me how you really feel?
Even though I’m not partial to either, I do like candy canes a little more. At least, I get the chance to eat them more often than lollipops/suckers.
I feel like I can eat a candy cane and its not too sweet for me, but man lollipops are so sweet I feel like I need to go to the dentist after haha
that’s funny, because since they are seasonal you’d think you’d get less of a chance!
Kind of my point: I don’t really ever get a chance to eat lollipops. And I’m not much of a sucker person. So the rare candy cane for me 🙂
Lollipops! 🙂
Depends on which type of lollipops, I love chupa chups other wise I choose candy canes
I forgot about those! They count, so I’ll count it towards lollipops!
i love candy canes, but because they are seasonal i probably have LOLLIPOPS more.

there is a lot of variety of lollipops that candy canes don’t really have I guess!
lollipops!!!
and what a craft month… =)
Lollipops…unless they’re dum-dums and the candy cane is any flavor besides peppermint. I’m fond of the non-traditional canes.
well I like only the peppermint ones, so together we’d take over candy land haha
That cake in a jar looks AMAZING.
In honor of Mr. A, I have to go with candy canes. For Christmas, he got 300 of them thanks to my grandma.

wow- all peppermint or different flavors?
Great 2012 update…
I’ll vote for candy canes!
But really, I’d pick neither…
haha- the lesser of two candy evils?
I guess lollipops, because there’s more variety 🙂
there are lots of kinds, sugar on a stick whats not to like!
WHOA! Back up a second – how did you make those bottle cap designs?? Those are amazing!
it is just magazine prints cut out with modge podge “dimensional magic” on top, I think I’m going to make them into magnets! except I like some of the bottle backs too, the ones from Tiger beer are really cool!
ooh, I like what you’ve done with the bottlecaps. And definitely candy canes for me.
I got this great modge podge “dimensional magic” stuff from Michaels, and now I wanted to buy more but they are ALL OUT. I’m so frustrated because the caps were so fun!
Oh this looks like such a great project!!
its been really fun- the biggest thing is that it gets us out of the house and doing stuff in the winter, which can be a struggle, especially in MN where its so cold!
