For the last couple of months, I’ve been a crafting fiend. Well, so most of the year I’m pretty into craft projects, but after being homebound from surgery and then getting some holiday spirit in me, I’ve been even more crafty of late!
Here’s what I’ve been up to (Christmas stuff only):

So now, I’m sifting through magazines, surfing pinterest, and racking my brain for the next great craft project! I scored awesomely with Michaels’ cards again this year, so the possibilities are bound only by my imagination!
I’m thinking about:
1. More paper cutting/ paper folding, more hotgluing, more magnets and bookmarks, more macrame, more recycled materials
2.Learning how to crochet, cross stitch, or similar.
3. Incorporating my new bamboo tablet into craft and graphic designs and posters! Yea!
If you’re a crafter/ project person, do you do them all year round or only certain times of year? If you’re not a crafter, what are your relaxing hobbies?

Im an on & off crafter, but any time is good for crafts! I like painting or finding something on pinterest. Otherwise I listen to music or watch movies to relax 🙂 good luck on your crafty search!
I’ve really upped my time on pinterest this past few weeks for holiday ideas, and now I can’t stop haha
Like someone said above, I’m an on and off crafter. Mostly paper crafts though. I liked to read to relax!
Me too- only I like alternating crafts and reading so that I can be social/ watch TV while I craft, which I can’t usually do reading 🙂
great ideas!

Thanks!
Cross stitch is a good choice for a relaxing craft. It is really easy!
Easy I like 🙂
Holy crap, girl! Look at all of the goodies that you have made. I’m so proud of you! Everything looks gorgeous.

well thank you!
I LOVE doing crafts! This year for Christmas, I made a wreath and some little homemade ornaments. Flowers ended up falling off of my wreath (damn glue gun) – but it was fun while it lasted. 🙂
I didn’t make any wreaths this year- but next year I think I’ll jump on the bandwagon! (or maybe some creative off-christmas-season wreaths!)
OH I so wanted a bamboo tablet…do you love it???
can’t wait to see what you do with it and woo hoo for fun crafts.
didn’t see any knitting in there planned for 2012…..just sayin’
xxoxoxo
miss ya
i’m a part-time crafter. ok, maybe even less than part time crafter! the past couple years with mini-he, i haven’t had time…and it’s not like i can leave anything laying around. he gets into everything. i used to make jewelry, so i may pick that up again this year.
would love to learn to crochet.
[oomph.]
Doing crafts with a kid is even more fun sometimes, they make it lighthearted!
Paper crafts are my favorite–scrapbooking and all kinds of paper sculpture, especially from recycled materials.
Yes, I use my old magazines cardboard and product labels, etc for art. I love it!
I’d like to do more paper crafts in 2012 as well! I’m intrigued by paper cutting and folding. There are so many tutorials available online.
I usually always just make up my own paper crafts, but since pinterest I’m more interested in tutorials and stuff.
