laughter is the best medicine

Today might be a Wordy Wednesday, but I can pretty much guarantee that you don’t want to hear any of my words about the day. I spent over an hour laboring over medical/ hospital bills only to get nowhere, it was cold and windy and damp outside, and the three kids I saw in a row this afternoon tried my patience beyond any day in my 4 and a half years at my job.

So, in the spirit of making myself feel better instead of drowning in a very lame pity party, I thought I’d share some of my favorite pinterest finds of late that qualify under “humor” (or as my board is called: “har har har.”) So enjoy!

Ohhh snap, the truth hurts on that one… and now for the finale, my personal fave:

Now work on your grammatical skills so you can save Grandma for crying out loud!

What do you do when you have a bad day? Do you have any tips other than laughter, loved ones, and a whiskey and a nap? Come to think of it, that sounds like enough…

Whenever I have a bad day, I just go ahead and have a bad day. I get mad and stay cranky and cry and sulk, and then the next day, that’s it. It’s over. Just embrace it, girl!

Oh those were great! I did have a little whiskey in my hot cocoa this evening, as it was a long day for me as well. I have to say when you mentioned your 4 trying children I felt grateful that I only had one and that she was Sylvia who really isn’t that bad!

Sorry to say that Grandma is not safe in my hands. My grammatical errors are numerous all the time and I am just to darn lazy to do anything about it! Sorry Grandma!

I love to share the funny things, because even though everyone has a different sense of humor, I know at least SOMEONE will enjoy each of them!

  4. Bad days suck! And so does eating grandma! OMG, that was amazing!

I’m sorry you had a lame day. I’d add listening to awesome tunes into the mix! That always cheers me up…

  5. Wine, chocolate or a convo with my best friend usually does the trick. I think nearly everyone can relate to the Target problem. Stop selling sweet shit, Target!

  6. why do u have so many medical bills? are you still sick from before?

    • Meri says:

(gulp) I just haven’t paid them yet… and because it was emergency services all of the costs are sort of contracted out to different places 🙁 almost done though!

If I’m having a bad day, usually chocolate makes me feel a little better. And watching my favorite shows.

  11. I sent that Target picture to some of my friends! haha It’s so damn true! And why wasn’t I following you on Pinterest? Problem solved. Also, your Pinterest profile picture? You are gorgeous!
