Happy Friday everyone! I’m so very very happy that the weekend is here. Before the partying gets started, I wanted to share a craft project I just finished that turned out like this:
So what is it? And how did I get there? Well, it all started with a bunch of old broken crayons…
What’s next? Well, you could hang them on the window so light shines through, hang them from string on the wall like me, make a mobile for a baby’s room, or even cut out little hearts for valentines day or make stars and tape them to the ceiling!
The opportunities are endless!
What colors are in your world today? And what do you have planned for the weekend?
Meri

So cute! I remember doing something very similar to that with crayons, waxes and leaves in elementary school. Nothing really planned for the weekend, probably just work. Have a great weekend!
I love all these crafts you’ve been doing!
What a nifty idea! I will try that one day for sure.
Must buy crayons!
That’s so creative! I never would have known – but crayons are actually really versatile! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
ohmygosh, that is soooooo cool! i love all the colors! 😀

I wonder if you could use these as embellishments on cards. Did you add parrafin in addition to the crayons?
nope, just the crayon bits. I made magnets out of some of the extra circles though!
OH my gosh I love it! And I want one. Or, just sell me yours? 🙂
it was really easy!
These are so cool!!
If you made the wax paper big enough, you could even frame them!! I think we might do that!!
that is a good idea!
