Hello all- It’s Travelin’ Thursday, and BOY am I glad it is! Why? Well, because I have a fun alphabet game that I thought up on the way home from the library tonight.

Hmmm, and I’m sure I’m missing many more. There is nothing like making a list of places you want to go to make you feel like you haven’t been ANYWHERE! Now I have travel lust again…so why don’t we cure it with sugar?

I don’t have that many places I want to visit. At least compared to you. And most start with the same couple letters (Ireland, Italy; Nashville, NYC).
Seriously? How do I keep voting for the losing candy? Anyway, I’m not a fan of either Twizzlers or Laffy Taffy. However, I don’t think I’ve ever really had a Laffy Taffy but I love pulling Twizzlers apart. So my vote goes to Twizzlers 🙂

actually its not like toffee, oddly enough. It’s sweet and super super chewy candy, you can stretch and pull it a lot. flavored usually fruity or maybe like chocolate or vanilla.

i haven’t travelled in so long. last was disney, and as soon as mini-he is old enough, i’m sure i’ll be going there again. so long adult travel….

I’m not much into cultural travel right now (although I have some wishes)…I’m just yearning for a beach, and I’m not too picky about it 🙂
I had a dream i was at a beach resort- then I woke up and it was gray and 20 degrees. Ugh.
Twizzlers. They remind me of travel. My parents were not fans of kids eating messy snacks in the car. This was one that they deemed car-worthy because it didn’t have crumbs or make you super sticky. We got creative in how we would eat them (Making flutes by biting each end off and then a bunch of finger holes etc). And nibs. I love nibs. It was even better when they came out with them in super-nib form.
As for where to go. I’ve been to a lot of places, but still have a lot on my list. I need my kids to grow up a bit so I can leave them for longer periods of time (or take with), but when they do I want to go to South America, more of Europe (been to 7 countries, still have a lot to see) and Australia and New Zealand. I’ve also never been to Asia, or Africa. So I should probably go there too. 🙂 And now I feel like I haven’t been many places…
haha- its amazing that we feel like that considering that it sounds like we’ve both done a fair amount of traveling. but there are just SO many incredible places to visit!
We used to make twizzler “straws” to drink our soda 🙂
I did this a while ago and I have so many letters that I need to cross off! I wanted to do it before 30, but I better push it to 35 😉
yeah unless my list changes to all places in the U.S. its gonna take me awhile!

There are just so many places to see in the world. Pretty amazing if you think about it. I’d really like to do a tour of Canada someday soon, I think.
Taffy gets my vote, although I’m not a fan of either. I do however think Twizzlers are disgusting, whereas, I can tolerate taffy, but only if there is absolutely no other sweet option.
its amazing how little traveling I’ve done in Canada considering they are our neighbor (directly) to the north 🙂
Twizzlers! Specifically, cherry pull-and-peels! Also, I recently tried the chocolate Twizzlers – which sounded disgusting, but tasted surprisingly delicious! 🙂
no that actually sounds pretty good to me! I tried the “gusher” twizzlers and they were a little too gooey and sweet for me haha
