No no mom don’t fret- man-go-round and I are not splitting up. I’m referring, instead, to the fact that due to man-go-round going on a day trip to see his family today, I spent the day doing things all by myself, and enjoying quite a productive day I must say!

I remember a SATC episode where the ladies describe their “secret single behavior.” Carrie’s involves eating saltines standing up in the kitchen while reading vogue, Charlotte stares at her pores in a mirror, Miranda wears gloves with lotion in them, and Samantha… is Samantha.

What does a Meri do? Well, if today was any indication, I:

• Slept in
• Did yoga/ strength moves
• Wrote my bi-weekly column and submitted it
• Worked on craft project for upcoming baby shower
• Made a 3-batch stir fry out of veggies of man-go-round’s in danger of going bad
• Walked to the co-op taking photos
• Read a magazine (Ladies Home Journal)
• Went to Target
• Talked to my mom
• Chatted with a neighbor
• Pinterest…

And the day is still relatively young. Right now man-g0-round has returned and we’re watching the Wild (tie game). Later on I plan to play around on Picasa, read one of my library books (Paris was ours or The Passion of Artemisia), try out my new Luna flavor (Peanut Pretzel Honey) and lounge and dance in my PJs. Even though I’m not playing the “single” game anymore, who is to say I can’t carry the spirit of it on through the rest of the weekend?
