Okay, cheesy title- yes, agreed. But I wanted an attention getting title for today’s post so that I’d be able to catch more attention to show the brilliant blossoms and blooms that we saw today at Macy’s annual spring flower show. This year’s them was that vibrant gem of South America, Brazil (Brasil).
Filling the 8th floor auditorium at the Nicollet Mall Macy’s are Bougainvillea, Begonias, Birds of Paradise, Wisteria, Hyacinth, Orchids, Daffodils, Bromeliad, Spathiphyllum, Amaryllis, Lilies, Magnolias, Roses, Redbuds, Banana trees, Palm trees, Coconut palms, Coffee and Cherry and Cocoa trees, Bamboo, Juniper, and more.
But why list all of the flowers and trees and vines when I can show you a quick collage of what is in bloom? In this case, I think the pictures are worth not a thousand words, but surely more than the paragraph above. Enjoy!
What did you do this weekend? What is your favorite “exotic” flower?
