Happy Tasty Tuesday, friends! I think ever PB and J is better when its shaped like a heart, right?
(I’ll admit the crusts got stuffed into the box as soon as I took this picture, I’m not a waster). I bought this heart shaped cookie cutter a few weeks ago, along with one shaped like the state of MN. Aside from baking cookies, this was the first use that came to mind. What else should I use the cutters for?
Second: My news of the day is that I’m going to be doing another bracket!
Those of you who’ve been around Meri-Goes-Round awhile might remember that last April I celebrated my blog’s “food month” with an epic fruits vs. vegetables showdown entitled, “Munch Madness.”
In the end, strawberries took the prize as most beloved fruit or veg. But I am left wanting more, and so I’m doing it again! It won’t be fruits vs. veggies this time, I’ve got something else in mind!
The new bracket will be revealed soon! So are you all in for another round of Munch Madness?

Yes, I’m totally ready for another round! And I love those little heart shaped sandwiches. I used to make dinosaur shaped PB&J’s for Adam. I think he may be embarrassed if I did that now though.

we use cookie cutters for play doh and also to cut out sandwhiches.
and we eat the crusts too (or I do) but I don’t even cut them off normally…hehe

i like to cut out shapes for the mini’s lunch sometimes! i’m still thinking about frittatas…maybe you could pour some scrambled eggs into the cutters? it’s what McDs uses, lol!
re: my laptop. it’s quite embarassing….basically i needed a new power cord, but when i finally made it down to the store (very few mac stores here and locations are inconvenient), the guy told me it could just be the hole/socket was worn out, that i should bring in my laptop…GAH! i never got around to going back again.
