That’s right, people. It’s time I express my looooove for Jell-O. Yep, I’m a proud Jell-O eating vegetarian. I also own one leather jacket.
I’m not getting political, just answering that question for anyone who cares. I also use chicken stock on occasion and eat the occasional fish or shrimp. I may have never tried any kind of beef, but I have tried scallops and a langostino, and even once a bite of calamari.
If I could only choose one animal product to keep, though, it would have to be Jell-O.
A rainbow of colors, it is pretty to be sure. But what do I like best about Jell-O? It’s cold, refreshing, deliciously juicy texture. I’m a sensory girl with food and drink, and for me Jell-O is about as good as it gets.

I like jello plain, in jigglers, with alcohol…with yogurt on top…and in snack cups. I like it in salads with fruit and whipped cream, and pretty much any way you make it. What are my favorite flavors? Well…

….And of course you’re all wondering about Munch Madness, right? In case you’re new around here, all month long I’m holding a tournament of Fruits vs. Veggies with a bracket and all (see here). Right now we are in the preliminary rounds, pitting fruits vs. fruits and veggies vs. veggies.
Yesterday’s match was a close one! I think the closest yet, with a final score of 13-11. Buuuut…
Bananas prevail! Sorry Cherry lovers, I’m with you to be honest, but votes are votes, and Bananas got more!
