Tonight’s list is near to my heart. Some truly fabulous things came out of the 1980’s… Hypercolor, Prince, Prince Harry, Me…
But I want to focus on toys here. And for the sake of me not wanting to split hairs and actually do research, tonight’s list will probably include some cross-over 90s toys as well. Potato/Potahto.
So, I will go through my little list and tell you which ones I think Fraggle ROCK, and which ones get Eighties-Sixed.
The “Rating” Game
1. Rainbow Brite- Yay! Fraggle Rockin’! For the sprites, if nothing else.

2. Cabbage Patch Kids- 86! Creepy!
3. Snap Bracelets- Fraggle Rock my socks! Even after they got banned at schools… Mine was lime green and said “excellent” all over it.
4. Polly Pocket- meh. I think 86’d, because they are sort of useless and hard to maneuver.
5. Beanie Babies- a thousand times no. 86’d. The worst.
6. Rubik’s Cube- Did I hear an 86-er in there? Too damn hard.
7. Hot Wheels- I’m tempted to 86 since I never got one, but since I did… FRAGGLE ROCKin!
8. My Little Ponies- fraggle rock my socks.
9. Magic 8-ball- Maybe so. Try again later.
10. Poochie- Oh yes. Fraggle rock.

11. Care Bears- um, sorry, 86’d. Even my cheese-tastic self gets a bit cheesed out by the care bears and their stupid vibes.
12. Etch-a-sketch- F.R. (fraggle rocks). Maybe the best one on this list!
13. Pound Puppies- F.R. because of my fabulous sleeping bag covered in them! Pretty cheesy though.
14. California Raisins- Creepy? Yes. Awesome? Yes. Fraggle Rock and rollin!
15. Glo-worms. Oh wow. I googled them to remember what they looked like, and this came up…

16. Sea Monkeys- Yay! RIP to my 4 sea monkeys that got poured out in the backyard when I got bored with them a very proper and honoring burial.
17. Tamagotchi- 86’d, because it was too demanding. I left mine in my tennis bag and forgot about it. Neat idea though.
18. Popples- um… 86’d, I think. Not special enough.
19. Waterfuls- Fraggle rock fo sho! I had so many of these and they sure did occupy my time!

20. Bed bugs. 86. Thousand. Gross. We definitely had this game. What on earth were they thinking????
