So in the “spirit” of the fourth season of Mad Men that we’ve been watching all week (and are actually watching right now), I thought I’d get in the mood with a list! What else is a girl to do during “listmania” month? Oh, and get ready for more abuse of the “spirit” pun…

Yes, this is only part of it. Variety is the spice of life baby!

Tonight’s drink of choice- man go round’s pick, not my fave…

Gettin’ in the Mad Men “Spirit”…


10. Mojitos! the fresh mint does it for me… I usually like them simple, however Chino Latino does a nice “crack ho mojito” with vials of juice to mix in…


9. Margarita- only on the rocks, and no freakin’ flavors. Not too sweet, good tequila. I’m picky, deal with it. I like these with chips and salsa, please!


8. Vodka Gimlet- hello I’m buzzed! Perhaps the most foo-foo drink I enjoy. Backup is just a vodka tonic, but I am a bit burnt out on these after college. Still.


7. Whiskey, on the rocks. Preferably Maker’s Mark or the Son of James (Jameson). I like Jack Daniels too, but with diet coke.


6. Wine- A nice dry chard, a Spanish red, or a rich Pinot Noir. Or anything from a box. Occasionally even mixed with coke (CaliMOCHO baby!)


5. Sake- yes, its wine, but it tastes different, so it gets its’ own category.


4. Bloody Mary! What’s not to like- tomato, vodka, celery, pickles, olives… a meal in a glass! Divine.


3. Beer- What I drink almost all of the time when I drink.


2. The occasional Martini, lots and lots of olives. Perhaps my own bowl of olives.


1. Bubbly. Champagne, Cava, Prosecco… any sparkling wine will do! I think a little bubbles can brighten anyone’s day. Plus, there is nothing like the feeling after toasting something special. 


My S*&% list? 
Jagermeister, Malibu, Leinie’s Honey Weiss, Sweet wine, any mixed drink that doesn’t include diet coke or tonic water, most sweet drinks whatsoever, screwdrivers, Long Islands (BANNED!), daiquiris, most “punches”, gin, pina coladas.
